View Campaign Reports on a Calendar

You can view your campaign reports on a monthly calendar instead of in a list. This makes it easy to see when you sent past campaigns, and when upcoming campaigns are scheduled to go out:

  1. Navigate to the Reports tab
  2. Click the Calendar button in the toolbar, next to the search field, or choose Report > View as Calendar from the menu bar at the top of your screen

To go back to the list, click the List button in the toolbar, or choose Report > View as List. Direct Mail remembers your choice for each project.

Reading the Calendar

The calendar shows every month from your earliest campaign to your latest, one under the other. Scroll up for earlier months and down for later ones. When you switch to the calendar, it scrolls to the selected campaign, or to the current month if no campaign is selected. Today's date is circled in red.

Each campaign is shown on the day it was sent, or the day it's scheduled to be sent. Drafts haven't been sent yet, so they're shown on the day they were created.

  • A filled dot next to a campaign's title means it has been sent or scheduled
  • A hollow dot means it's a draft
  • A campaign that hasn't finished sending (for example, one that's scheduled, sending or in review) is highlighted in the same color as in the list

If you sent several campaigns on the same day, they're listed one under the other, and the week grows taller to fit them all. Titles are often too long to fit in a day, so hover your mouse over a campaign to see its full title and the date and time it was sent.

Autoresponders aren't shown on the calendar, because they send over time rather than on a single date. Switch back to the list to see them.

The first day of the week is the one set in System Settings > General > Language & Region.

Select Campaigns

Click a campaign to show its report on the right side of the window, just as you would in the list.

  • Hold down the command key while clicking to select more than one campaign, or the shift key to select all the campaigns between the selected one and the one you click. If you select more than one campaign, they're compared.
  • Use the arrow keys to move between campaigns. The left and right arrows go to the previous or next campaign by date, and the up and down arrows go to the nearest campaign in the week above or below. Hold down the shift key to extend the selection.
  • Hold down the control key while clicking a campaign for a menu of commands, such as Open in New Window, Rename, Duplicate and Delete.

The Share button in the toolbar, and the commands in the menu bar, act on the campaigns selected in the calendar, just as they do in the list.

Search the Calendar

The search field works with the calendar too: only the campaigns that match your search are shown. For example, search for the name of a list to see when you sent campaigns to it. See this help article for more about searching.
