In addition to the sender and subject line, some email clients display a two- or three-line preview of the email content as the user is browsing their inbox. This brief preview is called "Preview Text" or a "Preheader". By default, preview text is just the first few lines of text from your message. However, you can customize the preview text to something more engaging:
- Click + in the subject line. A text field labeled Preview Text will appear.
- Enter your preview text in the text field.
You can use personalization features in the preview text. Remember to keep it brief.
