You can pause or resume an autoresponder at any time. In addition, our system may pause an autoresponder for certain reasons.
Pause an Autoresponder
To pause an autoresponder:
- Select the autoresponder
- Click Pause Autoresponder in the toolbar
If the System Pauses Your Autoresponder
There are some situations where our system will pause your autoresponder for you. For example:
- If there is a billing issue, like a monthly plan failing to renew, or a depleted email credit balance
- If your account is disabled by our compliance team
- If you move your project out of the cloud
You will receive an email notification if the system pauses your autoresponder (except for case #3 above).
What Happens When Your Autoresponder is Paused
If your autoresponder's trigger fires while the autoresponder is paused, no emails are sent, but the event is still recorded. If you later resume the autoresponder, you can choose to send or discard the queued up emails.
Restart an Autoresponder
To restart an autoresponder:
- Select the autoresponder
- Click Start Autoresponder in the toolbar
